I apologize that it has been a while since I posted on Holm is this Way. The Japanese school year just wrapped up and it has been quite hectic. March consisted of final lessons with graduating students, final exams, graduations, end of year enkais (business parties), teacher and admin switches, and a spring vacation full of cherry blossoms – pictures coming soon.
Over the past month I have examined my current blogging schedule and goals found that I needed to make some changes:
- Blooming Mondays: Now don’t fret I’m still studying ikebana but the same day postings were killing me – as well as my reoccurring cold. This coming week I start a new round of lessons so never fear I will have more fresh arrangements and a brand new post plan that won’t kill me.
- The Focus: Despite the majority of my posts, this is actually a travel/education (more stress on the education) blog and not one of a budding florist (sorry I couldn’t help myself). I am in the process editing a few Japan and JET/ALT Perspective posts and plan to post them in the near future.
- The Future: Since starting this blog I have struggled to find my voice for education. Until now. I am currently laying the groundwork for a big education series and brainstorming how, and what, I will write about education. I am so excited about this new series that I am going to give you a sneak peak.
That wraps up my update aka yes I am still alive post.
Until next time,
See you, space cowboy
