Finally bought my first real Christmas tree. I decorated it with a silly paper train and a couple of botched pepparkakor.
Distance baking with my mom has been one of the best things about winter this year. We both baked pulla for the first time. We chat over the phone and I get to learn her baking/cooking secrets. Fun fact: my mom always has trouble getting dough to rise.
Almost to the top but decided to stop here. The stairs end near the top and then you have to scale the steep (and muddy) mountainside to get to the very top. I’m not really afraid of heights but I am a cautious person by nature so mud+loose rocks+no path was not something I wanted to tackle in old running shoes.
